When we moved to Knoxville, I was so excited to be closer to the mountains and hiking trails. However, I had no idea how much I lucky I would be to have access to water and small trails just 2 miles from my house! I love being able to take my dogs on the trails or take the paddle board out on the lake from various different drop in along the water. Another reason I love this area, is the Cove at Concord Park in Knoxville. During the summer it comes alive with a swimming area along the lake and water rentals beside the marina which houses sailboats. All of the things make it even more enjoyable when the fall hits. The trees are starting to turn and the water gets lower so the rocks stand out to give it totally different vibes. I was able to do two sessions at the Knoxville Park this year. Though slightly different times throughout the month you will see how it changes!
This first family had photos taken early in October. The leaves were just starting to change and the weather was still warm. The brought their adorable dogs who has been in every family photo since they got her! She was a seasoned pro when it came to photos!
Even as we started to lose the sunlight, we were able to turn to other places within the Knoxville park to get a different feel.
The next season was taken in mid-November. These were some returning clients so we wanted a different location than last year. The water had gone down by this point and really showcased those rocks giving a slightly different vibe off.
Not only are the rocks able to be used but look at those fall colors showing off in the trees and across the lake. I love the water and tree combination at this location! You will also get to see the one tree below in all it’s glory!
LOOK AT THOSE COLORS!!! Their outfits were perfect for this big ole tree and just screaming for photos to be taken! So if you are looking for some great places for photos, Knoxville has some great locations!
