Smoky Mountains Proposal

When Harold reached out to me about to me about capturing this exciting moment I was thrilled. We did the session near Elkmont campground which offers a more private area in the Smoky Mountains. It was a morning session with amazing weather. During the session, Harold told me that Brittany was his high school sweetheart. They met in chemistry class, but reunited in high school band. They clearly know how to laugh and have fun, but also have so much love for each other.

Harold proposed using a fake lottery ticket. He had her scratch it off while waiting on one knee. He may not have thought through how long it can take to scratch off those gray coverups, but he patiently waited on one knee! Brittany cried tears of joy and excitement when she turned around to find her high school sweetheart on one knee! It was so. fun to capture this sweet moment in the Smoky Mountains! Now the mountains will always be calling their names!

Side note: Get you someone that will help you walk on slippery rocks in the creek and offers you hand when climbing up the river bank too! H is one of the good ones!
