When R contacted me about wanting to do a family session during their trip to Gatlinburg, I was so very excited. He mentioned he had four older kids, but it had been too long since he had updated photos done. He mentioned they normally visit the beach, but decided to switch things up this year and come to East Tennessee to visit Gatlinburg. It’s always fun to watch siblings interact with each other during their teenage and young adult stage. The joking and picking on each other changes slightly as you get older, but never goes away. These kiddos were no different.
When I pulled up for the session, I could tell the daughters had definitely coordinated the outfits for the session. I loved all of them (and how they put their own spin on each too!) As always during a half session or full family session, I took individual photos of each child and of course one with papa! The last one might be one of my favorites because they asked if they could reenact a photo from when they were little on the beach. Of course I had no idea, but they said they just stacked on top of each other by age… (of course when your in elementary school or younger this picture would have been much easier and less painful, but the eldest handled it like a champ!)
What a fun family session in the Smoky Mountains!
