I finally got to meet this sweet baby boy last week! We had his 6 month pictures scheduled and rescheduled many times, but we were finally able to make it happen. He was such a bundle of joy to photograph, even if I did make him do some tummy exercises!
This was a simple in-home session with the focus being Campbell at the age of 6 months. We took all the pictures in his nursery with the sunlight coming in through the window. It did not require a lot of props other than items already around the house. He was such a cutie! In the pictures below you can see the adorable swaddle from Saltwater Swaddles. They have some of the cutest hand-painted prints on their swaddles with vivid colors. This session was taken in the Lowcountry of SC where the blue crab is quite popular, which is the print in these photos.
Freezing moments like this are what being a photographer is all about to me. I love documenting memories to be cherished and looked back upon for years to come. Time goes by so fast, even now I say I can’t possible be this old! It feels like yesterday I was just in college… (if only!) Your home doesn’t have to perfect or spotless in order for pictures to be taken. It is about remembering how things are right now in this chapter of your life.
