We all have moments that are considered more special than others and well worth documenting, buuuuuut it’s also okay to do things just because you want to and they make you feel good! For example, I love flowers so I buy flowers for myself because I love having them around the house. I also love strawberry cake with strawberry icing (yes, very specific!) and sometimes I order a full (small) cake from a bakery. The baker usually asks what’s the occasion, and I reply “because I love strawberry cake and just want one”. People always say do what makes you happy but it can be small things such as cake and flowers, or having a photo shoot just for you!
I got the pleasure of taking photos of this gorgeous chica with the theme of “party of 1” at a styled shoot at The Delrose Farmhouse in Knoxville, TN. This photo session focused solely on Calista and having a blast at this lifestyle photo session! Using different props throughout the session allowed for a variety of pictures to be taken for different uses for her and the photographer. It was also stress-free, full of laughter, and just fun!
Just remember you don’t have to wait for something special in order to get photos taken. You can do a session solo, with your besties, significant other, or of course your family. Why not capture each chapter of your story even those fierce independent moments too?! Not to mention you got a major hype girl behind the lens to make you feel even more awesome here in Knoxville, TN (and if you happen to have access to a donkey than I am definitely your girl because donkeys are the cutest!)
