No better way to start a cold November shoot than with a mini Maverick! Upon meeting this family, this little guy appeared quite shy towards me. He did not want to even look at me…buuuuttt that only lasted about 3 minutes! A few tooting sounds and sticking out my tongue with funny noises and he has all giggles. He may have melted my heart in true Maverick style!
We had originally planned to do a session in Townsend, TN but after looking at the location more closely, the lighting was going to be an issue. Instead we decided on another favorite location – Seven Islands Birding Park. Being new to the Knoxville, TN area, I am still discovering how my new photography locations change with the seasons. Sevens Islands is always beautiful, but it depends on what you are looking for in a background. At this time of year it was pretty bare of any leaves other than some Evergreen trees, but we were able to use a variety of backdrops to get some amazing photos.
Now let’s talk about this precious little family! How cute is my little man! He quickly grew to love me and would listen to me over his mom and dad! (dusting the dirt off my shoulder😉 ) By the time the session was done, he did not want his parents to pick him up, but only me. Ha ha! I definitely felt the love from my little Mav! I haven’t even talked about his jacket which was ridiculous adorable and cool (of course!). Mom and Dad have a little one on the way and mom was glowing! She was absolutely stunning! While walking around they told me Seven Islands Park gets even prettier in the Spring – I CANNOT wait!
When your parents are ruining your “cool” vibe by giving you kisses, you have to put a stop to it! Can’t wait to meet this little baby boy!
