You have probably realized by now the Smoky Mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee are beautiful in fall. There is just something about the mountains which makes all your worries melt away. Whether you are hiking on a trail or just going for a drive along Foothills Parkway, it is so serene and peaceful (even while blasting music with the windows down!) This couple and their little girl were too sweet! However, the session started with a little baby blowout (which is why you always wait to put them in their outfits until you arrive on at the location – which they did!) This little tike acted like she was going to give me a session full of smiles, but she just wanted me to think she would give me free smiles! I mean look at these smiles at first!
Regardless of the noises, the funny gestures, or tricks I tried she did not give me her gorgeous smile nor would she do it for her mommy or daddy! Even without it she sure did win my heart over! You can tell from her precious looks on camera that she knew what she was doing adding a little mischief twinkling in her eyes!
While my full session seems like a long time for a baby, it allows for one outfit change a different background at the same location. It also gives time to try all the different tricks without feeling stressed if there is a blowout or spit up or your little one just takes some time to warm up to a new person. This family was doing a medical rotation in Knoxville, TN and wanted to remember their time here while their little one was still little. Their outfits were perfect for the background too.
